Ohio State Crew brought the whole team down to Chattanooga, TN for the Head of the Hooch Regatta. The novice had a strong showing in their first race with the Men’s Novice 8+ coming in 5th out of 39 teams, Men’s Novice 4+ coming in 7th, an strong performances from the novice women against a number of funded programs. Both Varsity squads performed well with the women placing 7th in the Club 8+ and the Men 13th in the Championship 8+ along with Men’s Club 4 finishing 9th out of 38. The day of racing was capped off the Men’s Championship 4+, composed of Adam Reckless, Josh Taub, Colin Richards, Erik Meister and Julie Stehli, earning a Bronze medal in a very competitive race being only 2.5 seconds off of 1st place.
